This month’s Build & Bloom Stampers blog hop theme is Thank you.

I used the Delicate Details bundle to make this thank you card, together with the gorgeous Delicate Dreams DSP.

To make this thank you card you will need:

  • Basic White cardstock base 21cm x 14.8cm scored at 10.5cm (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”)
  • Secret Sea cardstock layer: 10.3cm x 14.6cm (4 3/16” x 5 5/16”)
  • DSP top piece: 10cm x approx. 8cm (4” x approx. 3″)
  • DSP lower piece: 10cm x approx 7cm (4″ x approx 2¾”)
  • Strip of Secret Sea ribbon approx 15cm (6″)
  • Basic White scrap for die-cutting using the middle Scalloped Bloom circle
  • Blends for colouring of your choice (I used Crumb Cake and Hydrangea Hue)

Here are the pieces you need:

Fold and burnish the card base.

Adhere the DSP to the Secret Sea panel, overlapping the pieces.

Adhere the ribbon across the join using a strip of tear & tape.

Stick the completed front piece to your thank you card base.

Stamp “Thank you” towards the top right-hand part of your Basic White scalloped circle.

Stamp the sentiment you want inside the card in Secret Sea, plus stamp the flower image in one corner – I decorated the envelope in the same way.

Colour the flower(s) using your blends.

Add dimensionals to the scalloped circle and stick over the centre front of your thank you card.

Die-cut two flowers from the DSP and die-cut a frond from copper or gold foil. I also fussy cut a frond and some small flowers from the DSP. Or you could stamp, colour and die-cut whatever images you want.

Add to the front of your thank you card, positioning the items carefully around the bottom of your scalloped circle. See the video where I explain how to use a mix of glue and dimensionals where items are both on and off the circle,

Add a few gems or butterflies to finish.
