The months are rushing by and it’s blog hop time again. This month’s theme is Something Square. Last week we found out what colours and products are retiring and got a first peek at some of the gorgeous new stuff coming soon, so I decided I needed to celebrate our current In Colors, four of which are retiring at the end of the month (yes, one is staying – and it’s my favourite, Fresh Freesia!)
For this card, I used the second smallest Stylish Shapes square die to cut out squares in all five colours from In Color DSP. I cut one square in Basic White and added a sentiment for the Warm Welcome stamp set.
I use a Basic White card base 21cm x 14.8cm scored in half at 10.5cm. I cut two each of my Evening Evergreen layer (14.3cm x 10cm) and Basic White top layer (13.9 x 9.6cm) to allow me to use these layers inside the card too.
I stuck the stamped sentiment square to the centre of the card using dimensionals then added the coloured die-cut squares randomly around that, using liquid glue to stick them flat to the card.
Inside the card, I added my two layers.
I stamped the Watercolor Shapes square in Fresh Freesia to continue the Something Square theme then added Happy Birthday from the Perfect Moments stamp set in Polished Pink to complete the card.
I hope you like my card. Let me know in the comments below.

Hi Carol, I’m afraid your link on the blog hop didn’t work – it says “page not found”. I had to do a search to access your bloghop post. Lovely card by the way. Tfs. Elaine
Oh no I am so sorry. I’ve asked Madel/Louise to see why it isn’t working – and I checked it so carefully!
Its so exciting when its time for new colours, but I must say I did like these colours and will miss them, especially Evening Evergreen! Lovely card. x
