CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN WEEK 3

I make a lot of Christmas cards, so I need some designs that are quick to make but always slightly different – I pride myself on never sending two of the same card.

In this week’s Christmas Countdown, I show you how to make three simple embossed Christmas cards from one large stamp plus a sentiment. Sometimes less is more! I made all these in one hour, including the thinking time.

I first tried stamping in different colours on different bases, but ended up preferring the image stamped in Versamark on Night of Navy card and embossed with silver embossing powder.

For these cards, I used the gorgeous (and huge) Snow Crystal stamp. The large snowflake stamp fills the normal size card base using Night of Navy cardstock (14.8cm x 21 cm scored at 0,5cm). I used my Stamparatus, which is such a useful tool to line up stamps and to help you ink large stamps properly. See the video for how to do it for this large stamp.

Then I played with the sentiment (from the Mistletoe Magic stamp set), trying three different options which you can see in the video.

Which card do you like best?
