12 Cards of Christmas Card 4: Arch emboss card

Here is the fourth of my 12 Cards for Christmas projects. For this arch emboss card, I used the arches dies, the Swirls of Magic embossing folder and the Noel Tidings bundle. This is again a card you could make multiples of when you need cards quickly, as are most of the cards in this series.

You could use any other similar size shape if you do not have the arches dies.

To make this arch emboss card you need:

• Basic White card base 10.5cm x 29.6cm scored at 14.8cm (11” x 4¼” scored at 5½”)
• Basic White scrap approx 10cm x 6.5cm (4″ x 2½”)
• Night of Navy scraps for wreath branches
• Misty Moonlight ink pad
• Clear Wink of Stella OR Gold or silver gems

Instructions

Fold and burnish the card base.

Emboss the front of the card base using the Swirls of Magic embossing folder (or any other embossing folder of your choice) – see the video on how to do this if necessary.

Die cut the middle size arch from the Basic White piece.

Stamp ‘Merry Christmas’ in Misty Moonlight ink obn the arch.

Attach the completed arch to the side of your project as shown using dimensionals.

Die-cut a wreath from Night of Navy cardstock.

Trim the wreath into shorter branches.

Glue the branches above and below the arch to decorate.

Add berries coloured in clear Wink of Stella to add some sparkle. (or punch from glitter paper).

Stamp a branch inked with Misty Moonlight ink twice on the bottom right inside the card.

Add another sentiment across the inside stamped in Misty Moonlight.

Don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped the bough as before to match the inside of the card.
