Here is the fifth of my 12 Cards for Christmas projects. I made two DSP flap cards in my free Craftalong today using some retired DSP, Tidings of Christmas, but you can make this DSP flap card using any DSP you may have with any Christmas stamp set for the sentiment and decoration.
I used the Textured Notes dies for the sentiment and clear Wink of Stella to make the berries twinkle!
To make this DSP flap card you need:
- Colour card base 18cm x 14.8cm (7” x 5½”)
- DSP piece 1: 10cm x 14.8cm (4” x 5½”)
- DSP piece 2 (optional): 5cm x 14.3cm (1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″)
- Basic White layer for inside: 9.5cm x 13.8cm (3¾” x 5”)
- Basic White piece approx 5cm x 9cm (2″ x 3½”)
- Coordinating or contrasting colour ink pad for stamping
- Scraps of colour card for decoration

The instructions are below and/or you can watch the video at the end of this post.
Instructions
Score the base cardstock on the longer side at 2.5cm and 13cm (1″ and 5″)
Fold and burnish.
Glue the DSP layer behind the smaller right-hand flap.
Adhere the DSP panel inside the left-hand flap.
Stamp your greeting in a contrasting ink and die-cut. (I used the second smallest Textured Notes die that beautifully fits the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Noel Tidings stamp set.)
Adhere to the left-hand side of the card front – see the video for how to work out where to place the glue.
Die-cut the Noel Tidings wreath (or stamp and die-cut branches). Trim the wreath into smaller sprigs.
Attach around the sentiment panel as shown.
Die-cut or punch and adhere some berries and colour with clear Wink of Stella.

Stamp an inside sentiment on the Basic White piece in your contrasting ink.
Add a bough in Peaceful Pine stamping once then stamping again without re-inking.
Adhere inside your pine wreath card:

Don’t forget to decorate your envelope! I stamped the bough as before to match the inside of the card.
You can make this card with any DSP and coordinating colour cardstock. You could also emboss the front panels (then you do not need a second panel of DSP) – have fun playing with this design! Here are some of mine:

I hope you like this card and will have a go at making one – please show me what you come up with.
