For week 4 of our Christmas Countdown, IIn this to produce a beautiful card front. Add a sentiment and you have a quick to make, easy Christmas card.

I’ve used a favourite retired embossing folder for these cards but this technique can be used with any embossing folder you have.

You’ll need:

  • a favourite embossing folder
  • coloured or white base cardstock 21cm x 14.8 cm scored at 10.5cm
  • basic white cardstock 14.3cm x 10cm
  • ink pad of your choice
  • a brayer
  • Cut’n’Emboss machine

Instructions

Ink your brayer (the one shown below is retired) as shown in the video, then use it to carefully ink the debossed side of your embossing folder.

Place your Basic White cardstock piece in the embossing folder then run it through your machine.

Adhere to the front of your card base, add a sentiment and a few rhinestones and voila! That’s all there is to it.

Wash your brayer and embossing folder in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.

Don;t forget to stamp the inside of your card and decorate your envelope.

Why not have a go!

(PS I can’t decide which of these two cards I prefer – what do you think?)
