I need tags to attach to presents as I forget which present is whose almost as soon as I finish wrapping them!

Use your Tailor Made Tags dies to make some quick and easy gift tags. If you don’t have the dies, simply shape a rectangular piece of card by cutting off the top corners.

Here is the video to show you how to make these quick gift tags. Brief instructions are given below.

Die-cut two gift tags from cardstock. I used thick Basic White. You can emboss the cardstock if you wish. (I find it is better to emboss after die cutting as die cutting can squash the embossing.)

Also cut one patterned DSP gift tag. I used the gorgeous Snowflake Magic DSP which is sadly retiring soon. Cut this tag diagonally in half and stick one half to each plain cardstock tag.

I completed the tag by adding a simple “for you” sentiment (from the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set) in Lost Lagoon and added a thin stripe of silver or gold self-adhesive glimmer paper. The sentiment can be stamped directly onto the tag or onto a scrap of basic White and added with a dimensional.

You could add one or two die cut snowflakes if you want as well. I used the Wishes all Around dies to cut these as you can cut three at once.

You can make these in any or all the sizes of the tag dies depending on what size tags you need for your gifts. The recipient’s name can be written on the back of the tag.
