For the second project in week 7 of my Christmas Countdown, I wanted to give you some ideas for some quick and easy gold and white cards using our brushed gold cards and envelopes.

I make and send around 70 cards at Christmas, so I need quick and easy card ideas. The Brushed Gold Cards and Envelopes can be found in the current mini catalogue and they make very quick and easy cards because they are already decorated in gold.

I demonstrated three different types of cards in the video below and we made even more in my online live Craftalong this week. Please sign up for my emails to receive the details for these. We have great craic and fun!

The first cards use the Stars at Night embossing folder and dies. I cut out the three large stars in Basic White then I die cut three smaller stars from the set in gold foil. I stuck the smaller stars to the larger ones and added them to my card front. I gold embossed the Merry Christmas sentiment, added it to a gold foil layer and voila – the first quick and easy card.

The second card used the new self-adhesive gold glimmer paper. I die cut the Noel from the Joy of Noel die set and stuck that downwards on the right-hand side of the card base. I added a die-cut frond from the Christmas Classics bundle, but you could use any other Christmas image you want. A gold twine bow completed the card.

In the picture above you can see the second card I made with a die cut Noel. This time I used the holly berries and leaves from the loose gems and sequins as additional decoration.

My third card used the Handmade Wishes stamp set (currently in the clearance rack) and the coordinating Handmade Tag punch. I stamped the outline shape in Versamark and then added the sentiment and snowflakes stamped in the centre. After adding the gold embossing powder I set it with my heat gun and then punched it out to add to the card. A few extra embellishments from the loose holly gems and sequins box completed my cards.

Do let me know if these ideas have helped you if you are feeling daunted by the number of cards you have to make like me!
