This quick and easy Cottage Rose gift bag is a doddle to make and goes beautifully with the card I made (described in the previous post.) You can make two bags from one sheet of 12×12″ Designer Series Paper. All measurements are shown below.
I used the small flower stamp from the Cottage Rose set to decorate the tag – the die to cut it out is part of the large multi flower and leaf die in the bundle. I used the small leaf and flower dies cut out in gold foil for the accents on the bag and the gift tag and I used the scalloped tag punch to form the tag.
I explained how to use an ink pad, stamping block and aqua painter to watercolour your embossed flower image in the last video and that’s what you need to do for the flower image for the gift bag, too.
The Cottage Rose gift bag is easy to make – follow the instruction in the video. I cut the holes with a hole punch as shown in the video then added the ribbon.
Measurements
Petal Pink 5 x 11 cm
Basic White 5 x 11cm plus scrap for flower
Cut both pieces using the Scalloped Tag punch and decorate as shown in the video.
Abigail Rose DSP 6″ x 12″

Trim and cut as shown in the video, burnish all folds well, making sure they line up exactly at the top, and form the bag as shown. Decorate using the gold foil die cuts. Add holes and ribbon and attach tag.
Then wow your recipient with a beautiful card and gift bag!
