In this video I show you how to make a Cottage Rose card using an embossed image coloured using a watercolour technique. I’ve used products from the gorgeous Abigail Rose suite collection from the annual Stampin’ Up! catalogue (please ask me if you want one)

The suite includes the Cottage Rose stamp set which has a set of matching dies and the dies also match the images in the coordinating Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper. There’s also a lovely neutral ribbon which you can stamp on, although I’ve used a different ribbon for my projects.

I explain how to use an ink pad, stamping block and aqua painter to watercolour your embossed flower image in the video. You can use any large flower image for this card. Why not experiment and have some fun? I’d love to see what you come up with.

My next video, in a few days time, will show you how to make a coordinating gift bag.
