It’s the first T4S blog hop of 2025. This month the theme is Cards for Kids, although I think this card could be for grown-up kids too! I’ve used the gorgeous Pets & More Online Exclusive stamp set as the centrepiece for this card.
You can use these cute images for the outline and also to fill the image and there are so many extra images to play with too. For example, I used the small stamps from this set to make a custom background for the card.
To make this Pets & More card you will need:
- Basic White card base 10.5cm x 28cm (4¼” x 11″)
- Basic White panel 10cm x x 14.3cm (4” x 5¼”)
- Basic White piece for die-cutting 8cm x 8cm (3″ x 3″)
- Basic White scrap for sentiment
Instructions:
1. Score the base card at 10.5cm (4¼”), fold and burnish well.
2. Stamp the food bowl in Cherry Cobbler ink randomly over the Basic White panel.
3. Stamp the paw in Crumb Cake around the bowls.
4. Finish the front panel by stamping the tennis ball in Daffodil Delight to fill in any gaps. The completed panel should look something like this:
5. Adhere the panel to your card front.
6. Die cut the third largest Spotlight on Nature circle from Basic White. Your choice of which edge you prefer!
7. Stamp the dog or whichever animal you prefer onto the die-cut circle. I stamped the dog in Memento ink then stamped the reverse infill using Crumb Cake. Or use Blends to colour the image, whichever you prefer.
8. Stamp a sentiment onto a scrap of Basic White then cut it out around the outlines of the lettering. I used the Happy Birthday from the Sweetly Scripted stamp set.
9. Add these elements to your card front using dimensionals.
10. Stamp the outline image of the dog in Crumb Cake to decorate the inside of your card and also the envelope.
11. Colour in the tag on the dog’s collar using Cherry Cobbler blends or Stampin Write marker.
12. Add a sentiment inside, and your holder is complete. I used Enjoy your Day from the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set.
You could make this card using any of the other animals in the Pets & More set to suit your intended recipient!
