This year I want to do more YouTube and Facebook lives, so I started today!
I plan to be live on my Facebook page (craftycarolscards) and on my YouTube channel (@craftycarolscards) every Tuesday at 2pm. I do help you can join me there. Although we can’t talk, you can write comments which I will see and I will answer any questions you have live during the session. I will continue with my recorded videos and regular blog posts as well and I always see comments on these. I try to respond as quickly as I can to any comments.
On today’s live I talked about using the new Stampin Brayer with embossing folders and showed you two ways to do this.
For my first card, I used the Fern embossing folder. I embossed part of my layer of cardstock then used the Stampin Brayer to add colour to the raised embossed areas using Garden Green.
I made the second card in a different way by adding colour directly to the embossing folder using the Stampin Brayer then running it through my Cut’n’Emboss machine. This coloured the debossed areas.
I finished both cards with a strip of ribbon and a sentiment.
As it was live you will also see the mess I made when I got some ink on my cardstock! At least I was able to show my sand rubber and how it covered up most of the mistake. As my BFF and I always say, they are not mistakes, just happy accidents!
