I love the quirkiness of the Along These Lines stamp set from the 25-26 annual catalogue. If we are honest, it was the dog that I fell in love with! But there are so many things you can do with this lovely set and in my Live today, I showed you two different quick and easy ways to bring this set to life. I made three quick and easy cards.

I used my normal card base in landscape format, that is, for UK cardstock 10.5cm x 29.6cm scored at 14.8cm (US cardstock 11” x 4¼” scored at 5½”). The colour cardstock strips are 5.5cm x 14.8cm (US 2¼” x 5½”) and the Basic White strips are 5cm x 14.8cm (US 2” x 5½”). For the third card, I used a DSP layer 10cm x 14.3cm (US 4” x 5¼”).

For full instructions please watch the video at the end of the post.

You could, of course, colour the images using Blends or Stampin’ Write markers, but I wanted something quick and easy, so I used my small blending brushes to add background colour across and around the images. I used inks to match the cardstock I had chosen.

There are no sentiments in the Along These Lines set, so use any ones you have. I used sentiments from Linked Together and Charming Day stamp sets.

Here is my first quick and easy Tiger card using Timid Tiger cardstock and ink plus Peach Pie ink.

For my quick and easy Dog card, I used Crumb cake cardstock and ink plus Pecan Pie ink.

The final quick and easy card background uses some retired DSP and the Dolphin image. This time I did not add colour behind the images, but coloured them using my light Night of Navy blend. I used Memento ink for the image outline and sentiment.
