Last week, I made three landscape orientation cards. This week I’ve gone portrait. I made two more quick and easy Along These Lines cards in my Craft Live today. Both were birthday cards, one simple and one with a little more added. The same card designs can be used for many different occasions. I used the Arched Wishes stamp set for the Happy Birthday sentiment and balloon image.
These quick and easy cards use the birthday cake and rose stamps from the Along These Lines stamp set.
For the first quick and easy card you will need:
- Basic White card base 21cm x 14.8cm scored at 10.5cm (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”)
- Colour card strip 5.5cm x 14.8cm (2″ x 5½”)
- Basic White strip 5cm x 14.8cm (1¾” x 5½”)
- Basic White scrap for sentiment
- An embossing folder (I used Glass & Gardens)
- Colour ink pad and Memento ink pad plus Blends for colouring

I used an embossing folder to create some interest in the otherwise plain right-hand side of the card, or you could leave this plain if you wish, or add more gems or stamping or whatever. This design could be used with any other small/medium image stamp set.
I stamped the images in Memento and coloured them using Stampin Blends. Here is the card:

For the second quick and easy card you will need:
- Basic White card base 21cm x 14.8cm scored at 10.5cm (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”)
- DSP layer 10cm x 14.3cm (4” x 5¼”)
- Colour cardstock piece 6cm x 8.5cm (2¼” x 3¼”)
- Basic White piece 5.5cm x 8cm (2″ x 3″)
- Scraps of Basic White and colour cardstock for sentiment

I used a piece of retired DSP for this card. You can use any DSP you want, just match the colour cardstock to it. I stuck the DSP to the card front, then stamped the rose on the Basic White piece, coloured it with Blends and layered it onto the colour card piece. I stamped the sentiment in Flirty Flamingo, trimmed it, then gave it a colour cardstock border before adding it to the card using dimensionals.
This quick and easy card can easily be made into a sympathy card, anniversary card or any other occasion card simply by changing the sentiment you use.
I stamped the image in Memento ink and coloured it using Stampin Blends. Here is the card:
