In this post and video I show you how to use Stampin’ Write markers (or any other colour marker pens) to colour your stamps before stamping.

I’ve used the Wonderful World Saleabration freebie, which consists of a stamp set with three beautiful flower stamps and two additional leaves and a pack of Designer Series Paper. It’s free with an order of £90 from any of the current catalogues.

You’ll see how I used two colours on the flowers and on the leaves to give more depth to the image. The stamps are Distinktive stamps, that is, they have fabulous detail already built in, and this lends itself to colouring using marker pens.

The sentiments I used are from the Sending Smiles bundle – that bundle (stamp set and dies), plus a colour family set of Stampin’ Write markers, a card pack and some dimensionals will get you this free Wonderful World set.

Or buying the Many Marvellous Markers set of all 40 markers will get you the set and you’d be halfway to getting another SAB freebie!

Let me know if you’d like a catalogue or any other details or information.

Have a play with the technique – I’d love to see what you come up with.
