This short video shows you how to make a sticky note holder.

These quick and easy sticky note holders make lovely small gifts. You can buy pads of sticky notes at bargain shops or Amazon cheaply. And you need very little in terms of craft supplies.

Choose coloured cardstock to match your sticky note pads or the DSP you want to use. I used subtles cardstock and some retired DSP in the video. You can get three of these out of one piece of A4 cardstock and the ovals can be punched from the remaining scrap piece.

Instructions

Cardstock piece: 8″ x 3 1/2″  Score the long side at 2″, 2 3/8″, 5 1/2″ and 5 7/8″. Fold and burnish.

DSP: 3 1/8″ x 2 7/8″

DSP 3 1/8″ x 1 7/8″

DSP 3 1/8″ x 1″

Stick the DSP to the card base as shown in the video. Be careful to stick the smallest piece DSP in the right place – up against the fold, not against the edge.

Use the double oval punch to cut a scalloped oval in the same colour cardstock.

Stamp your sentiment onto a scrap of Basic White cardstock and cut out using the plain oval from the punch. Stick the lunched oval pieces together then add to the bottom of your holder using dimensionals. This will act to hold the holder closed.
