When I first looked at the new 2022-2023 annual catalogue I rather glossed over the Abigail Rose suite (p56-57). But then I saw cards and Idas from other demonstrators and decided I might need it after all!
Abigail Rose is such a beautiful suite which includes the Cottage Rose bundle of stamps set and matching dies, natural finish ribbon and the most fabulous Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper. It also matches with the new Petal Pink soft ribbon. Once I started playing with this suite I had so many ideas – I’ll be showing you a beautiful card and gift bag over the next few posts and videos. But in this post I wanted to show you how to make a quick and simple card by combining the large cottage rose stamp with some simple layers and using the Watercolour Shapes stamps to add a quick and easy background.
I love the Watercolour Shapes stamps which are Instinctive, that is, they have a natural variegation – which means that even if you are not a confident stamper, they will look just fine!
Here’s the video to show how I made these cards. Details and measurements are below.
