It can be so hard to think of ideas when your creativity has taken a holiday! One way to break through the block is to use a layout template – a sketch of elements and shapes laid out in a way which you can then use as a basis for designing your own cards. Here’ the one I used for these cards:

I’ve used a simple layout template as shown above. You can find templates using an online search or use Pinterest to give you ideas for your own preferred layouts. If there is any interest I will start to develop a template library – just let me know.
The cards use the usual A5 base (21cm x 14.8cm, scored at 10.5cm and folded in half) and I made one card in each of the gorgeous 2022-2024 In Colors. I cut vellum circles using the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes die set and used the hippo dies to cut out the hippos and other elements.
Then it’s up to you about how much you embellish the cards further using ribbon and gems, for example. See some examples on my cards.
