My mum commented last week that she had run out of get well cards. So I decided to use the new Online Exclusive Hugs & Healing stamp set and make some for her. I paired it with the Everyday Happiness DSP, also available as an Online Exclusive, Lost Lagoon cardstock and the Stylish Shapes dies. (Links to these new products can be found at the end of this post.)
I made two cards initially as shown above, then an additional two in my Live today. All use a similar base with variations in the dies or pieces used for the front images. The Hugs & Healing stamp set is great for get well cards, especially for people who like animals or have pets! It goes live today in the online store.

To make these cards you will need:
- Lost Lagoon card base 21cm x 14.8cm (8½” x 5½”)
- DSP front panel 10cm x 14.3cm (4” x 5¼”)
- Basic White inner panel 9.5cm x 13.8cm (3¾” x 5”)
- Scraps of Basic White for die-cutting and sentiments, approx 1/4 sheet total
- Lost Lagoon ink pad
- Stampin’ Blends of your choice
- Shades of green hexagon gems
Score the base cardstock in half at 10.5cm (4¼”), fold and burnish.
Adhere the DSP panel to the card front.
Cut your chosen Stylish Shape die piece and stamp your image on it in Memento ink. I used the largest square die for the lying down dog and cat, used as a diamond. I used the third largest circle die for the cat with a sling and I used the largest circle for the dog with thermometer (see video).
The fourth card (see in the video) used a strip of Basic White 4.5cm x 10.5cm (1 7/8” x 4¼”).
Colour your image with Stampin’ Blends. I used Crumb Cake for the dogs, Gray Granite for the cats, Bubble Bath for the cat tongue, and Lost Lagoon and Soft Sea Foam for the blankets.
Add to your card front using dimensionals.
Stamp your chosen sentiment in Lost Lagoon on a scrap of Basic White. Punch or die-cut – see the video below to see how I used partial die-cutting with a Stylish Shapes die to make the correct size for my sentiment.
Add to your card front using dimensionals.
Stamp a different sentiment on the Basic White inside panel in Lost Lagoon. I added some paws as additional decoration to the inside panel and to my envelopes.

Finish the card by adding some green hexagon gems.
Here is the video of my Live showing how I made the two additional get well cards:
