For my week 3 Christmas Countdown project I’ve made a simple, quick and easy but wow embossed card using the Stars are Shining bundle and the beautiful new silver foil speciality paper

Sloth get well

Measurements

  • Basic White card 21cm x 14.8cm (half A4 sheet widthways), score at 10.5cm
  • Night of Navy cardstock layer 14.3cm x 10 cm plus scraps for stamping
  • Stars are shining bundle – stamp set and punch
  • Silver foil 10cm x 6cm
  • Silver embossing powder
  • Versamark ink

Stamp the stars using Versamark onto a scrap of Night of Navy cardstock. Cover in embossing powder and heat with heat gun. Leave to cool before punching out the stars using the Starlit punch (part of the bundle)

Stamp the tiny star and sentiment directly onto the Night of Navy layer and emboss with silver embossing powder.

Stick the Night of Navy layer to your base card. Add the silver foil strip.

Add the punched out stars randomly over the silver foil piece using dimensionals and/or multi-purpose glue

Don’t forget to stamp your sentiment and decorate inside the card too, and decorate your envelope. You can see how I did that on the video.
