It’s week 2 of our Christmas Countdown and I’ve used the gorgeous Perfectly Plaid stamp set and matching tree punch to create this simple but stunning multi-layer card, along with the beautiful Tidings of Christmas DSP. You can use any Christmas DSP and matching inkpad, and any Christmas stamp set with smallish images and make a card based on this one. Experiment and enjoy!

Sloth get well

Measurements

  • Basic White card 21cm x 14.8cm (half A4 sheet), score at 10.5cm
  • Be Dazzled (or any gold card/ shimmer paper) 14.3 x 10cm
  • Christmas DSP 13.8 x 9.5cm
  • Be Dazzled (or other gold card/ shimmer paper) 9.5cm x 7cm*
  • Basic White 8.5cm x 6cm(or die cut of similar size) plus scrap for stamping

*If you want to save card, cut the smaller piece of gold out of the centre of your larger piece.

Stick the large piece of gold to your base card. Add the DSP on top.

Using a matching ink, stamp your tree on a scrap of white card and punch it out. Stamp your sentiment directly onto your main white piece. (I’ve made one card with a soft succulent tree and the other with evening evergreen. Which do you prefer?)

Layer your white piece onto your smaller gold cut out and add to your card.

Stick your tree on with dimensionals.

Don’t forget to stamp the inside of your card and decorate your envelope!
