This card was made using the circular Picture This die cut through the DSP layer. I placed this over the white card layer and drew pencil circles through the cut out holes to mark where I needed to add the stamped images.
I stamped various images as shown and coloured them. (The second shoe is just stuck on top of the other.)
I rubbed out the pencil marks then stuck on the cut out DSP layer with dimensional strips
Measurements
- The bags are die cut from DSP. Cut two pieces using the handbag die – be careful to get any patterns the correct way up!
- Alternatively you can cut them from coloured card and add DSP pieces as decoration.
Each bag needs two main pieces, two handles and four buckles or buttons – your choice!
I also used the sentiment panel from the die set
To assemble the bags, carefully crease each score line – be careful as the stitched lines may want to be involved!
The side of the bags have V shaped score lines and a centre fold. Crease these both ways so you have a choice of having the side panels folded inwards or outwards as shown in the photo.
Stick the two main panels together matching the edges carefully.
Use your bone folder, run it lengthways along the handle strips several times to break down the card fibres to gently bend into shape as shown. Add your chosen buckles or buttons and stick to your bag.
Add your sentiment panel on dimensionals and add gems if you want!
