I don’t send many Easter cards, but the few I do send need to be lovely! I fell in love with the Blessed Blessings bundle when I first saw it and it is a lovely set for Easter cards and gifts. I wanted the church to be the centrepoint for this card together with some of the die-cut elements.

To make this card you need:

  • Basic White card base 21cm x 14.8cm scored at 10.5cm (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”)
  • Lemon Lolly layer 10cm x 14.3cm (4” x 5¼”)
  • Basic White layer 2: 9.5cm x 13.8cm (3¾” x 5”)
  • Lemon Lolly diamond 7.5cm x 7.5cm (3″ x 3″)
  • Basic White diamond 7cm x 7cm (2¾” x 2¾”)
  • Basic White piece 6cm x 9cm (2½” x 3½”) for stamping church and die-cutting clouds, plus a scrap for the sentiment.
  • Scraps of gold foil, Pecan Pie and Lemon Lime Twist for die-cutting
  • Pecan Pie ink pad
  • Lemon Lolly blends
  • Layered Florals or similar embossing folder

Fold and burnish your card base. Attach the Lemon Lolly layer.

Emboss the Basic White layer with the Layered Florals embossing folder and stick on top of the card front.

Adhere the Basic White diamond piece to the Lemon Lolly diamond piece.

Stick the completed diamond to the card front so the top point is just below the top of the card and the side points are central and level – use your glass mat to help if you need.

Stamp the church in Pecan Pie onto the Basic White piece. Die-cut out. Also die-cut one large and two small clouds from the Basic White piece.

Die-cut the porch and doors from Pecan Pie, the cross from gold foil and four bushes from Lemon Lime Twist, two small and two large.

Colour the church windows using the Lemon Lolly blends. Stick the porch and doors to the church.

Adhere the church to the diamond centre using dimensionals.

Adhere the clouds using multipurpose glue so that they overlap the diamond edges as shown. Add the bushes to the sides of the church and carefully stick the gold cross to the top.

Stamp Easter Blessings using Pecan Pie ink onto a scrap of Basic White the die-cut or punch using any suitable die or punch – I used a retired punch and edged it using my dark Lemon Lolly blends as shown in the picture above.

Add the greeting to your Easter diamond card front using dimensionals.

Stamp a suitable sentiment and decoration of your choice inside the card. I used some retired stamps.
