This month’s Build & Bloom Stampers blog hop theme is Springtime. Springtime to me means lambs, chicks and rabbits, which gave me the idea for this circle spotlight card. I have used an old, retired stamp set, but the new Easter Basket stamp set has similar rabbit images and sentiments.

To make this card you will need:

• Bubble Bath card base 21cm x 14.8cm scored at 10.5cm (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”)
• Basic White card (x2): 10cm x 14.3cm (4” x 5¼”)
• Bubble Bath card: 9.5cm x 13.8cm (3¾” x 5”)
• Memento ink pad
• Bubble Bath Stampin Blends
• Scraps of Basic White for stamping and sentiment
• Circle die or punch approx 2½” or 6.5cm – I used the second largest Stylish Shapes die
• An embossing folder of your choice

Fold and burnish the card base.

Adhere one of the Basic White pieces to the front of your card.

Die-cut or punch a circle in the Bubble Bath card piece as shown – I used the second largest Stylish Shapes die.

Emboss this cut piece using an embossing folder of your choice – I used the All in a Row embossing folder.

Stamp your rabbit in Memento ink onto a scrap of Basic White. Stamp your springtime sentiment as well. Fussy cut (or die-cut) your image and trim your sentiment. Add some colour using Bubble Bath Stampin Blends.

Adhere your embossed panel to your card front using adhesive strips or dimensionals. Add the rabbit inside the cut circle using dimensionals.

Stamp the Basic White inside panel with a sentiment of your choice and add some flowers as decoration. Colour these using your Bubble Bath blends and stick inside your card. (Try to stamp your sentiment straighter than I did!)

Don’t forget to decorate your envelope as well!
