How to make a shamrock card using Endless Love

St Patrick’s Day is coming up soon so we’ll be celebrating here in Ireland. I decided to make a shamrock card using the small heart from the Endless Love stamp set. It is a very simple card to make and it can be made for many different occasions by changing the sentiment.

You will need:

• Garden Green base 21cm x 14.8cm scored at 10.5cm (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”)
• Lemon Lime Twist (x2) 10cm x 14.3cm (4” x 5¼”)
• Basic White (x2) 9.5cm x 13.8cm (3¾” x 5”)
• Basic White scraps for stamping image and sentiment
• Garden Green and Lemon Lime Twist inkpads
• Gems to decorate

Fold and burnish the card base.

Adhere one Lemon Lime Twist panel to the card front and one to the inside of the card.

Take one Basic White piece. Use the tiny heart stamp to stamp a shamrock by stamping the heart in Garden Green four times at 12 o’clock, 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock. Stamp shamrocks randomly across the piece.

Take the tiny dots stamp and fill in the white spaces between the shamrocks using Lemon Lime Twist ink. Remember to turn this stamp so the dots are not uniform.

Adhere the completed panel to the card front.

Stamp the heart cluster stamp in Lemon Lime Twist on the Basic White inside panel. I used the same stamp and ink to decorate my envelope as well.

Add a sentiment of your choice stamped in Garden Green.

Stick the completed panel inside your card.

I stamped the lined heart in Lemon Lime Twist for the front of the card, die-cut it out, and added it to the centre front of my card using dimensionals.

I stamped the Love stamp in Garden Green on a scrap of Basic White, then trimmed it and flagged the ends before adding it across the centre of my heart using some multi-purpose glue.

I finished the card by adding a green gem to the centre of each shamrock.
