I have fallen in love with the Labeled in Love stamp set and accompanying punch or dies – you have a choice which you buy when you purchase the bundle! I chose the Labeled in Love punch as you don’t need an additional Cut & Emboss machine to use it – although these machines are on offer, along with all bundles, at 10% off all this month if you want to treat yourself.
I also wanted to show off the gorgeous new In Colors from Stampin Up! and show the coordination with the ribbon and Designer Series Paper as well. I hope you’ll agree they complement each other very well.
To make the card you need:
- Summer Splash cardstock 21cm x 14.8cm (8 ½” x 5 ½”) scored at 10.5cm (4 ¼”)
- Summer Splash DSP strip 14.3cm x 5cm
- Summer Splash ribbon approx 17cm plus a short strip approx 8-10cm for the knot
- Basic White 6.5cm x approx 12cm for stamping
- Basic White 9.5cm x 13.8cm (3 ¾” x 5”) for the inside
- 2024-2026 In Color Stampin Write markers
Here is the video of how to make the card, or instructions are also given below:
Use the Labeled with Love frame stamp to stamp three times on Basic White card. (Note: To make sure the stamp lies straight, drop it upside down on your work surface then pick it up with your block.)
Stamp the butterfly outline in Memento ink inside two of the frames.
Stamp the Labeled with Love Happy Birthday sentiment in Summer Splash inside the third frame.
Colour the butterflies using the In Color Stamping Write markers.
Punch out or die cut all three frames.
Wrap the ribbon around the DSP strip and adhere at both ends using tear & tape. Push the short ribbon strike underneath and tie in a knot. Trim the ends.
Adhere the completed DSP strike to the left hand side of the card front.
Add the three panels as shown using dimensionals.
Decorate the inside panel and your envelope using an image from the Labeled with Love stamp set – I used the parcels, but you could use the butterfly again. Add a sentiment stamped in Summer Splash.
I made a similar card using Peach Pie and the flower and leaves stamps.
Which do you like best?
