How often do you see someone’s card that you like? We all take inspiration from seeing what others have made and one thing I love about Stampin; Up! is that we are encouraged to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) cards from the catalogue and those that other people have made. I will often see a card I love and copy or adapt it.
But what if you don’t have the exact products used for that particular card? Or perhaps you like the card layout but not the sentiment used? Simply changing a sentiment and/or changing the design around a little can mean you create several individual cards using the same layout and products.
In this week’s video, I took a card I made for the Tech 4 Stampers blog hop (see previous post) using the Country Bouquet bundle and I show you how to adapt the same products and layout for many different occasions.
In this video I show you how to make many different cards from one single layout by tinkering with the sentiments, changing the embossing folder used and moving the punched-out elements around a little.
Try it. Have a play!
You can take this idea further by using different punched-out elements or changing the colours used, too.
