It’s easy to create your own shared backgrounds and I this video I show you how to make your own circular background – though you can use the same technique with any other shape.
For this card you need:
- a circle template (I used the largest circle die)
- low tack tape
- coloured base card 21cm x 14.8cm scored at 10,5cm
- Basic White card (2 pieces) 9.9cm x 14.2cm
- Wildlife Wonder stamp set or other stamp set of your choice
- Blending brushes / sponges
- Ink pads – I used Balmy Blue, Old Olive and Soft Suede
To make the card, follow the instructions in the video.
I hope you enjoy trying this technique. The Stampin Up! blending brushes make it easy, though if you only have sponges you can use them although it is not quite as easy to get a smooth colour application I find.
If there is any technique you’d like to see in a future video, please let me know.
